Do I need to book in advance?+
Yes, Vivid cruise tickets sell fast. Fridays and Saturdays book out 6 to 10 weeks ahead. The closing weekend (18, 19 June 2027) is usually fully sold by mid-April.
What time should I arrive?+
Boarding opens 15 minutes before your cruise time. Arrive at King Street Wharf in Darling Harbour. Look for the MV Sydney Magic, the team will check you in by name.
Is food included?+
Sparkling wine or soft drink on arrival is included on all 3 cruise tiers (Vivid Cruise 3 upgrades to spirits, beer, wine). Snacks and additional drinks are available from the on-board bar.
Can I bring kids?+
Yes, Vivid cruises are family-friendly. Child tickets are $35 (Adult $49). The boat is fully safety-equipped and our crew runs the night with families in mind.
Can I charter the whole boat for Vivid?+
Yes, private Vivid charters start at $2,000 for a 3-hour exclusive cruise (capacity 120). Add catering, beverages, DJ and photography to taste.
What if it rains?+
Vivid is rain or shine and so is the Magic. The climate-controlled lower-deck saloon means you stay dry and warm while still seeing the entire show through panoramic windows.
